Midland Independent School District is seeking an Elementary Principal to lead the district-wide elementary program in Midland, Texas. The role requires directing the instructional program, overseeing campus operations, and ensuring alignment with district policies and instructional goals.

The candidate should hold a Master's degree with Texas Mid-Management certification or Principal Certificate, and be certified in T-TESS, with three years of classroom teaching and prior campus leadership

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Mid-Management certification or Principal Certificate.
• Certified in the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS).
• Three years’ experience as a classroom teacher.
• Previous campus administrative experience preferred.
• Prior experience in instructional leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the instructional program and supervise operations at the campus level.
• Provide instructional leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service.
• Direct the implementation of district policies and instructional programs and manage campus activities.
• Supervise and evaluate personnel in accordance with district policies.
• Develop and oversee the School Improvement Plan and ensure alignment with district goals.
• Maintain two-way communication with staff, students, parents, and the community.
