Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Mid-Management or Principal Certificate.
• Certified in the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS).
• Pass Bilingual or ESL exam through the Texas Education Agency with required ELL PD if needed.

Responsibilities

• Interpret MISD curriculum guides and assist in program implementation.
• Assist with administration of system-wide and special testing programs.
• Monitor and report teachers’ methods of charting pupil progress.
• Promote a positive student learning environment and staff morale within the district.
• Assist in planning and preparing school budget and campus schedules.
• Coordinate routine maintenance requests and supervise student management activities.
