Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support PreK–3 students in a Kalamazoo-area school. This full-time, contract maternity-leave assignment runs Sept 28 to Dec 18, 2026, delivering direct assessments and targeted language interventions in collaboration with teachers and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid SLP license in Michigan.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Experience serving pediatric populations, preferably within a school environment.
• Strong familiarity with IEP process and documentation requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students.
• Develop, implement, and monitor tailored treatment plans and interventions.
• Participate as an active member of multidisciplinary teams, contributing insights and recommendations.
• Document student progress and contribute to IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes.
• Provide direct speech and language interventions and support within classroom and pull-out settings.
