Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide care and treatment for children with a variety of diagnoses in Kalamazoo, MI. This is a temporary position covering maternity leave for 12 weeks starting in December.

The ideal candidate will have previous pediatric experience and must hold state SLP licensure and ASHA certification. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, establishing treatment goals, and collaborating with other services to maximize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have CCCs for this position.
• Experience in outpatient pediatrics is preferred.
• Meet ASHA minimum standards for initiation of Clinical Fellowship Year.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care while maintaining positive interactions.
• Coordinate treatment programs with other services.
• Evaluate patients and establish appropriate treatment goals.
