Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Indiana is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time maternity leave assignment from December through March in a Corydon-area school.

You will deliver direct therapy, conduct assessments, participate in IEP development and reviews, and collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and families to support student growth and documentation in line with state requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
• Department of Education certificate (DOE cert) required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred.
• School-based or pediatric experience strongly desired.
• Ability to provide compassionate, direct therapy.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students across a variety of needs
• Conduct assessments, interpret test results, and determine eligibility for services
• Participate in the development, implementation, and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and school administrators to support student success
• Communicate student progress and strategies with families, offering guidance and support
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state and school requirements
