Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist for a maternity leave coverage in an elementary school setting. The role supports students aged 5–11, providing direct and indirect therapy, and ensuring IEP goals align with progress.

Collaboration with teachers, parents, and staff is essential to student growth. Required active SLP license with GaPSC Educator Certification; CCC-SLP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• GaPSC SLP Educator Certification required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Experience providing services in a school setting, especially elementary grades.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff.
• Ability to manage caseloads and paperwork efficiently in a busy school environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students with speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to student progress.
• Serve as a resource to teachers and parent communities on speech and language development.
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations using standardized tools.
• Maintain session notes and required documentation in compliance with standards.
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and team planning as needed.
