Clayton County Public Schools Pointe South Elementary in Riverdale, Georgia is seeking an Elementary Paraprofessional (K-5) to assist teachers and support student learning. The position starts immediately and reports to the Principal or designee.

The role requires one of several educational pathways (associate degree or higher, two years of college coursework, or GACE/paraprofessional credentials) and may require bilingual/bicultural experience for certain postings.

Formación

• Associate's degree or higher from GaPSC-accepted institution.
• Two years of college coursework (60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours) with grade of C or better.
• GACE Paraprofessional Assessment or high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Paraprofessional License eligibility; GaPSC will apply upon hire.
• Experience serving school-age children is desirable.
• Bilingual or bicultural experience for certain positions.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts small group or individual activities based on lesson plans.
• Prepares materials for instruction and assists with grading.
• Operates circulation system and records; assists in media center in absence of media specialist.
• Assists with routine records and school-wide supervision (e.g., loading/unloading buses).
• Performs other duties as required to support the program.
