Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 48 college credits; or Passed the Para Pro test.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.
• Ability to become CPI trained if necessary.
• Experience with children with Special Education services preferred.
• Passion to work with school aged children.

Responsibilities

• Support students in learning across content areas in individual, small group, and whole group settings.
• Assist students with self-regulation and behavior management to maximize learning.
• Provide sensory support and use of assistive technology as needed.
• Support transitions, communication, and social-emotional development for students.
• Review and support implementation of IEP goals when needed.
