Job summary

West Virginia K-12 Jobs is seeking mentors for the Beginning Teacher Mentorship program in West Virginia. The mentor will guide a beginning teacher through the first semester, with placement on a semester-to-semester basis.

Preference given to those with similar subject/grade teaching assignments and to those holding the Master Mentor Teacher Advanced Credential. The program is a year-long mentorship, with a stipend of $300 per mentor per semester.

Qualifications

• Mentor must have completed WV Center for Professional Development’s mentor training institute.
