Job summary
Brilla Schools in the Bronx is seeking an Elementary School Literacy Teacher for the 2026-27 year to lead literacy instruction across core areas and collaborate with colleagues to meet growth targets for 2nd–4th grade students.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Current elementary teaching certification preferred; urban teaching experience valued.
- Special Education credential and related experience highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Participate in ongoing professional development and instructional coaching.
- Lead data-informed instruction and monitor student progress toward mastery.
- Deliver rigorous literacy lessons across Close Reading, Writing, Phonics, and Interventions.
- Collaborate with literacy colleagues and grade-level teams to support growth.
- Engage families to strengthen home–school connections and student outcomes.
