Brilla Schools in the Bronx is seeking dedicated elementary teachers for a growing K-8 network serving over 2,000 students. The role emphasizes a classically inspired curriculum, virtue-centered education, and individualized support to meet each child’s needs.

Core responsibilities include implementing data-driven pedagogy, maintaining a structured classroom culture, and collaborating with families to support scholars’ outcomes.

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Current teaching certification as an elementary school teacher (preferred).
• Relevant urban, elementary teaching experience with demonstrated student results (preferred).
• Special Education credential and experience (highly preferred).

• Understanding, planning, and executing key elements of innovative pedagogy and data-based decision-making through a deep love of learning.
• Establishing and maintaining a highly structured and welcoming classroom culture where scholars are supported in developing their own internalization and mastery of virtue.
• Provide a model of courage, justice, wisdom, and self-control, while championing a positive, flexible attitude and solution-based approach to challenges.
• Develop meaningful relationships with students, families and colleagues that inspire Scholars to love learning and achieve exceptional academic success.
