District 196 is seeking a Literacy Interventionist to support elementary students needing targeted literacy support. You will work with teachers, administrators, and families to implement evidence-based structured literacy interventions and curriculum aligned with standards, serving on the district-wide interventionist team.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, collaboration, and equity-centered teaching to foster an inclusive learning environment for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota teaching license (elementary, special education, reading, or English Language Development).
• Training or certification in structured literacy (preferred).
• Experience in structured literacy instruction and intervention (preferred).
• Ability to analyze data and adjust instruction accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough literacy assessments to identify students’ challenges.
• Analyze data to develop personalized intervention plans.
• Maintain detailed progress records and monitor intervention effectiveness.
• Collaborate with teachers and district staff to align interventions with classroom instruction.
• Communicate progress with teachers, administrators, and parents.
