Job summary

The Peach Springs Unified School District is seeking an Elementary Literacy Specialist to support elementary literacy achievement through targeted reading intervention and collaborative planning with teachers. You will help implement research-based literacy practices, monitor student progress, and coordinate district literacy assessments and resources.

You will work with students, families, and staff to strengthen instructional outcomes and MTSS implementation, using technology to track progress

Qualifications

Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate.
Structured English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement.
Finger Print Clearance Card (IVP).
Knowledge of evidence-based literacy instruction and assessment.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide targeted reading intervention for students identified through assessment and progress monitoring.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to strengthen literacy instruction and student achievement.
Model effective instructional strategies and provide classroom support.
Assist with coordinating district literacy assessments, intervention programs, and resources.
Participate in MTSS meetings and develop intervention plans.
Utilize technology to support instruction, assessment, communication, and recordkeeping.
