Qualifications

• SKILLS are required to perform multiple, technical tasks with a potential need to upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions.
• Knowledge of basic math including fractions and ratios; read manuals and present information to others; follow complex instructions.
• Ability to work with diverse groups, maintain confidentiality and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Adapt classroom activities and materials under supervision to support learning objectives.
• Assist students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce concepts and academic goals.
• Attend meetings and communicate with teachers and staff regarding student progress and IEP objectives.
• Implement instructional programs and maintain records and files for safety and mandated requirements.
• Monitor students in various settings to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the classroom and staff.
