Job summary

Stone Mill ES is seeking an Interrelated Teacher to implement high academic expectations and promote student achievement. The primary responsibility is to implement, deliver and promote high academic expectations for all students.

The ideal candidate must collaborate with team members and communicate clearly. Plans and delivers instruction for diverse learners, including those with special needs, and maintains a positive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from a Georgia PSC-approved college/university in the relevant field is required.
• Valid Georgia PSC-approved teaching certificate is required.
• Special Education certification and related service certification must align with assignment.
• ESOL and Gifted endorsements required.
• CTAE specialization education requirements apply.
• Must pass the GACE Education Ethics Assessment.
• Minimum two years of verifiable industrial work experience.
• Industry licensure required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Teaches grade-relevant curriculum and mandated standards.
• Plans and delivers lessons for in-person and virtual learning.
• Communicates with district personnel, students, and parents via phone, email, or video.
• Creates a safe, engaging classroom environment for diverse learners.
• Assesses progress and maintains student records and attendance.
• Supports students with disabilities via IEPs and SDI as appropriate.
• Coordinates with paraprofessionals and staff to support student success.
• Participates in conferences with parents, counselors, and administrators.
• Maintains attendance and completes required professional duties.
