Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a Georgia PSC-approved college or university in the relevant field is required.
• Valid PSC-approved teaching certificate is required.
• Endorsements in the applicable subject area required.
• CTAE: pass the GACE Education Ethics Assessment and minimum two years of verifiable industrial work experience.

Responsibilities

• Teaches grade-relevant, subject matter-specific, and mandated curriculum.
• Develops and implements lesson plans for in-person and virtual learning.
• Communicates with district personnel, students, and parents via phone, email, or video conferencing.
• Creates a conducive classroom environment for physical, social, and emotional development.
• Assesses, documents, and reports progress, attendance, and performance.
• Serves as case manager for students with disabilities and coordinates IEPs.

Teaching certificate (GA PSC-approved)

Endorsements in subject area (GA PSC-approved)
