Job summary

Legacy Traditional Schools seeks a General Education Teacher to inspire students toward academic excellence. You will deliver direct instruction using Spalding and enVision Math, guided by an accelerated curriculum designed for primary learners.

You will assess student progress, maintain records, and communicate with families while collaborating with colleagues. The role requires travel between campuses and adherence to school values and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid SEI Endorsement/Certification or ability to obtain.
• The incumbent will be required to pass a criminal history background check.
• Preferred: teaching certificate from within the state where the position is located.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction using accelerated, back-to-basics curriculum including Spalding (reading & writing) and enVision Math.
• Identify, select, and modify instructional resources to meet diverse student needs.
• Maintain effective and efficient record keeping of student progress and attendance.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and other professionals both orally and in writing.
• Collaborate with peers to enhance the instructional environment and model professional standards.
