The position requires a valid Alabama teaching certificate, a bachelor's degree, and a minimum of three years’ teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Valid Alabama teaching certificate is required.
• Successful completion of Alabama Reading Initiative or other suitable specialized training is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ successful teaching experience is required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates support for the school system and its vision, goals and priorities.
• Demonstrates knowledge of prescribed curriculum, intervention strategies, and professional development delivery techniques.
• Models current educational research and best instructional practices.
• Uses technology to communicate, plan and provide instruction, and manage data.
