• Requires a bachelor’s degree in education and 5 years classroom teaching experience.
• Experience leading professional development and instructional improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of standards, assessment, and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Works as part of the leadership team with the building principal.
• Provides professional development opportunities and models best practices.
• Coaches teachers one-on-one and in small groups to improve instruction.
• Collects and analyzes data from common formative assessments to inform planning.
• Supports development and execution of School Improvement Plans.
