Job summary

Wake County Public School System is seeking an Instructional Assistant (IA) to support teachers in elementary, middle, or high school settings. The role involves implementing goals, working with students individually or in small groups, and assisting with instructional activities and in-classroom management.

The IA will collaborate with licensed teachers to adapt strategies, reinforce skills, and prepare materials aligned with lesson plans while ensuring a safe, encouraging learning environment

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; ESSA Title I requirements may apply for certain schools.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Apps.
Ability to apply instructional delivery methods in diverse classrooms.
Respect for diverse student backgrounds and FERPA compliance.

Responsibilities
