Adams 14 School District is seeking an Elementary Generalist Teacher for assignment in a TBD location within the district. The role requires teaching grades 1–6 with a focus on core subjects and child development, and includes collaboration with staff and ongoing professional growth.

The position emphasizes meeting Colorado READ Act requirements, maintaining professional standards, and contributing to student growth across multiple grade levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess or qualify and receive within 30 days of hire for a Colorado teaching certificate with an elementary education endorsement.
• Must submit fingerprints through Adams 14's district-coordinated employment background check process.
• Teachers assigned to grades K-3 must meet Colorado READ Act training and evidence-based reading instruction requirements.
• Dual Language Teachers required to hold CLDE or appropriate credentials.
• One year residency, student teaching, or classroom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that reflect district curriculum and accommodate diverse learners.
• Plan and use instructional strategies, materials, and technology aligned to standards.
• Assess student learning and use results to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula for IEPs.
• Work with staff to set instructional goals and MTSS interventions.
• Ensure compliance with district policies and professional conduct requirements.
