Job summary

Adams County School District 14 seeks an Elementary Teacher (Generalist) with a Dual Language emphasis to join Dupont Elementary School. The role supports K–3 students within a Colorado public school setting and requires a Bachelor’s degree and a Colorado teaching certificate with elementary endorsement.

Responsibilities include planning engaging lessons, collaborating with teachers and families, and ensuring compliance with state and district requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess or qualify and receive within 30 days of hire a Colorado teaching certificate with an elementary education endorsement.
• Teachers K-3 must meet READ Act training and evidence-based reading requirements.
• Dual Language Teachers required to hold CLDE or appropriate credentials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum.
• Use differentiated instruction and MTSS to support all learners.
• Collaborate with special education to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Plan, assess, and monitor student learning growth with formative/summative data.
• Establish professional relationships with parents and the school community.
• Comply with Board policies, district regulations, and state laws.
