Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Colorado teaching certificate with elementary endorsement required within 30 days of hire.
• Fingerprint background check required by district policy.
• Colorado READ Act training and evidence-based reading instruction required for K-3.
• Dual Language Teachers must hold CLDE or equivalent credentials.
• One year residency, student teaching, or classroom experience preferred.
• Bilingual Endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials reflecting diverse learning styles.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula as needed per IEPs.
• Work with staff to set instructional goals and MTSS-based interventions.
• Use technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Supervise instructional aides and volunteers as assigned.
