Job summary

Chelsea Public Schools seeks an Extended Day District Manager for Elementary Schools to coordinate Chelsea's Extended Day programs across sites. The role partners with district departments and outside organizations to deliver safe, enriching after-school services.

Responsibilities include planning programs, coordinating communications, overseeing attendance and safety protocols, and supporting Site Supervisors.

Qualifications

Current Chelsea staff with at least five years teaching experience.
Experience as program administrator or other building leadership role.
Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
Extended Day Program leadership experience (preferred).
Administrator licensure (preferred).
Bilingual Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

Lead the planning of all elementary Extended Day programs, including offerings, space use, outreach, and reporting practices.
Develop a comprehensive program communication plan for Chelsea families.
Collaborate with extended day partners to ensure seamless use of resources.
Develop and oversee implementation of a common attendance reporting system for all summer programs.
Create and implement cohesive safety protocols in collaboration with district staff.
Advise on staffing and hiring processes with Site Supervisors and leadership.
Monitor and support Site Supervisors and coordinate with City resources as needed.
Oversee payroll and program evaluation in cooperation with the Officer of Innovation, Access, and Opportunity.
