Job summary

Chelmsford Public Schools seeks an Extended Day Program Supervisor for after-school/evening hours. The role oversees the Chelmsford Extended Day site, coordinating staff, supplies, and program operations under the Community Education Office.

The position requires experience with children, strong coordination and communication skills, and knowledge of Google Suite. Citizenship or work authorization is required to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a daycare or classroom setting.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate, communicate, and assume program responsibility.
• General knowledge of Google Suite.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and students of the Extended Day Program at their site.
• Take responsibility for supervision, staffing, ordering supplies, and overall coordination with the Community Education Office.
• Act as liaison with building principal and parents.
• Plan and set up hours prior to the start of the school year.
• Work a minimum of 10‑15 hours per week, September through June, and be on call for emergencies (weather or late pickups).
• Supervise a shift during February or April vacation.
