Job summary

Cherry Creek Education Association is seeking an Elementary Teacher in Colorado to develop coursework and deliver instruction that supports an exemplary educational program for all students.

The role requires Colorado teaching credentials, classroom management skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse staff and families. The position is exempt and follows the district’s Certified/Licensed pay schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Colorado teaching license required (CDE Elementary Education endorsement).
• Student teaching/practicum/internship experience per Colorado requirements.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• Basic knowledge of standard office equipment and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to align curricula with state standards and work in a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in large, small, and one-on-one settings daily.
• Plan and implement course content, lesson plans, and materials.
• Assess, edit, and grade student work daily.
• Design assessments and provide feedback to guide instruction.
• Create a positive classroom environment and manage student behavior daily.
• Monitor student growth, document progress, and adjust supports.
• Communicate progress and needs with families and staff daily.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to improve outcomes.
• Participate in meetings and professional development daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
