Job summary

Academy Charter School in Colorado is seeking an elementary teacher to deliver engaging, standards-based instruction and to support diverse learners including those with IEP/504 plans. You will develop curricula aligned to Colorado standards and Core Knowledge, collaborate with colleagues, and foster critical thinking and empathy in a safe classroom environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Education, excels in communication, and is committed to the charter school mission.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in Education required.
• Expert-level written and oral communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial outlook and charter school commitment.
• Ability to work collaboratively.
• Strong self-starter; able to work with limited direction.
• Available 7:15 a.m.–3:45 p.m. M-F.

• Conducts an organized and professional classroom.
• Implements rigorous and highly engaging standards-based instruction.
