Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• Student teaching/practicum/internship meeting Colorado's requirements
• CDE teaching license and credential required
• CDE Elementary Education (K-6) endorsement required
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to align curriculum with state standards
• Ability to work in a Professional Learning Community

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in large, small, and one-on-one settings daily.
• Develop, plan, and implement course content, lesson plans, and instructional activities.
• Administer, edit, and grade assignments and assessments daily.
• Design varied assessment tasks and use data for feedback and instructional adjustments.
• Create a positive classroom environment and manage student behavior daily.
• Monitor student growth and document progress for academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Communicate progress and needs with parents/guardians and staff daily.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance instruction and outcomes.
• Participate in department, team, and district meetings and related activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned daily
