Job summary

ReNEW Schools is seeking a Dean/Athletic Director for Pendleton Elementary School. The role leads student discipline, attendance and a safe school culture while overseeing elementary athletics, scheduling and events.

Qualifications

• Indiana teaching licensure is required.
• Minimum of five years of teaching experience.
• Administrative licensure or leadership experience is valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead student discipline and attendance, supporting a safe and positive school culture.
• Collaborate with principal, assistant principal, teachers, counselors, and families to support student success.
• Oversee operations of elementary athletics, including scheduling, organization, and supervision of events and teams.
• Maintain accurate records of disciplinary incidents and MTSS behavior interventions.
• Support teachers with classroom management and behavior strategies.
• Coordinate attendance notifications and meetings per district policies.

Education

Valid Indiana Certified Teacher Licensure

Minimum of five years of teaching experience

Administrative licensure or school leadership experience is valued but not required
