Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to supervise custodians and coordinate maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and direct the work of custodians at assigned campus.
• Help in the scheduling and training of custodians.
• Plan, oversee, and participate in all custodial work, maintaining safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
• Monitor the timecards of all custodial employees.
• Maintain an inventory and order custodial supplies from the operations department.
• Promote safety and security of the building.
• Be responsible for the general fire safety, health, and comfort of students and employees.
• Promote district energy management and IPM programs.
• Perform emergency repairs and minor repairs as needed.
• Keep building and premises neat and clean at all times.
• Check exit doors and panic bolts during occupancy hours.
• Schedule and participate in custodial support of events.
• Participate in district safety protocols as directed.
