Job summary

Waco ISD is seeking an experienced Cafeteria Manager for the Elementary level to organize kitchen operations and supervise cafeteria staff. The role requires strong knowledge of food production, records, and safety compliance.

You will manage recipes, production records, inventory, and reporting in PrimeroEdge, ensuring efficient, safe food service across the campus. The candidate should have ServSafe certification and a valid Texas driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required and ServSafe certification must be obtained per district policy.
• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be eligible to drive according to Texas DPS School Transportation Guidelines.
• ServSafe certification must be pursued and maintained as district policy requires.
• Experience in quantity food preparation or cafeteria operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Input data and run daily, weekly, and monthly reports in PrimeroEdge; manage production records per recipes.
• Maintain organized records for all kitchen, storage, and service areas and post required health and safety notices.
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards; train staff on SDS usage and procedures.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, inventory, and cash handling procedures. Monitor timekeeping and attendance.
• Coordinate with CNS and school administration for menus, events, and production planning.
• Support special events and ensure compliance with district policies.
