Job summary

Chickering Elementary School is seeking a skilled BCBA to support students in PreK-5 and collaborate with special education staff and school-based teams. The position is a 1.0 FTE dedicated to students across grades PreK-5.

The BCBA will conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and other behavior evaluations, develop Behavior Intervention Plans, monitor data, and provide training to staff and families. This role emphasizes district-wide leadership in Safety Care and data-informed practice.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification required and current.
• Experience with ABA-based programs in school settings.
• Experience with a range of disabilities across ages and grades.
• At least three years of public school experience.

Responsibilities

• Consult with team on behavior plans, curriculum modifications, and social skills.
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and other behavior assessments.
• Develop BIPs and monitor data collection and implementation.
• Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with families and staff.
