Job summary

Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, CA seeks a Restaurant 1 Server to deliver exceptional food and beverage service in the resort's restaurant, working with bartenders, runners, culinary teams and leadership to create memorable guest experiences.

You will greet guests, take orders, serve meals and drinks, maintain high standards, assist with events, and uphold sanitation and safety guidelines; a high school diploma and hospitality experience are preferred; English fluency

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Fluent in English (verbal and written).
Previous serving experience preferred in luxury hotel or resort.

Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly and professionally, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and provide menu recommendations.
Serve food, cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to standards.
Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, wine lists, and resort amenities.
Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties; support events as needed.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
