Job summary

Cosmos Club is seeking a Full-Time Catering Coordinator to deliver high standards of service for distinguished members and guests in Washington, DC. The role works closely with the Director of Events and Director of Banquets to execute events with elegance and precision.

Responsibilities include guest tours, reservations, and assisting with menus, entertainment, themes, and decorations. Applicants should be flexible for weekends and busy periods, with a focus on teamwork and superb customer

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning at a hospitality venue required.
• Superb customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem solver, team player and leadership skills.
• Flexible with varying schedules to reflect business needs; weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Provides guest tours and offers suggestions to promote the Club's facilities.
• Communicates and works with the Catering department to ensure consistent service.
• Assists members in making reservations for special functions and maintains records.
• Helps members plan events including menus, entertainment, themes, and decorations.
