Cosmos Club in Washington, DC is seeking a Full-Time Cook to join our hospitality team and support the culinary and pastry staff in planning and prepping all Club meals. You will have daily opportunities to learn, grow, and wow our staff, members, and guests with your performances.

Qualifications

• Degree from accredited culinary school or equivalent experience.
• Ability to express creativity through food selections, preparation and presentation.
• Ability to solve problems quickly under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Cooks behind the line with a team full of passion and creativity.
• Ensures food quality by managing freshness and preparation.
• Communicates effectively with kitchen team to create high-quality cuisine.
• Consults with supervisory staff to plan menus, considering costs and event needs.
• Assists the pastry team with plating and dessert creation as needed.
