Job summary

Cosmos Club is seeking a Full-Time Catering Coordinator to deliver high standards of service for distinguished members and guests in Washington, DC. The role works closely with the Director of Events and Director of Banquets to execute events with elegance and precision.

Responsibilities include guest tours, reservations, and assisting with menus, entertainment, themes, and decorations. Applicants should be flexible for weekends and busy periods, with a focus on teamwork and superb customer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary:

The Catering Coordinator works closely with the Director of Events and the Director of Banquets to ensure that each event is executed with the highest standards of service and class.

Primary Functions:

• Provides guest tours and offers suggestions in effort to promote the Club's facilities for the occasion being planned
• Communicates and works effectively with the Catering department to ensure consistent service
• Assists members in making reservations for special functions and maintains accurate records of these reservations
• Helps members plan special events including menus, entertainment, a theme, decorations and other aspects

Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull food trays/carts, chairs, and tables to 40 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
