Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Training Specialist in the Electrophysiology division, based in Austin, TX. You will design and deliver educational programs for field reps, employees and customers, covering clinical, technical and sales aspects of Abbott EP technologies.

Work with Education, Marketing, R&D and Sales to deploy curricula, update materials, and measure impact. Strong teaching mindset and electrophysiology knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 2+ years training experience in a therapy area or equivalent sales/marketing.
• Knowledge of electrophysiology medical devices.
• Ability to design training programs from needs assessment.
• Understanding of technical aspects of current and new products in Therapy area.
• Affinity for educating others.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and drive training initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and execute electrophysiology educational programs for field representatives, employees and customers.
• Collaborate with Education, Marketing, R&D, Sales to develop new employee and continuing education.
• Develop curricula and training content for multiple channels to build field competence in clinical, technical, customer understanding and selling abilities.
• Deliver continuing education for physicians, fellows, and customers at Austin facility and national programs.
• Create metrics to assess training effectiveness and iterate programs accordingly.
• Engage field organization with periodic visits to understand sales, clinical, and healthcare environments.
