Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a skilled Cath Lab/EP Lab professional for the Birmingham, AL area. The role involves setup of sterile fields, patient prep, and operation of mapping equipment during EP procedures.

The candidate will assist physicians, maintain equipment, and ensure safety and compliance in a fast-paced lab environment. A High School Diploma and EP/cath lab exposure are required, with MRI/IVUS/FFR familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or EP lab setup and support.
• Familiarity with electrophysiology procedures and mapping equipment.
• Basic understanding of radiation safety and sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Set up sterile fields and prep patients for EP cases.
• Assist with mapping equipment setup and operation during procedures.
• Maintain room inventory and ensure supplies for cases.
• Assist physicians during EP procedures and document data.
• Follow radiation safety regulations and complete required education.
