Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Electrophysiology Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Birmingham, AL. This role supports electrophysiology studies, pacemaker/defibrillator interventions, and related cardiac procedures within the EP lab.

Required are EP Lab experience, current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCES/RCIS certifications. The position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a strong clinical team support system.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent EP Lab Tech experience required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ ARC).
• ARRT, RCES or RCIS certification is required/expected.
• ACLS certification current.

Responsibilities

• Assist in electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implantations.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor responses during procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot EP lab equipment and ensure sterile technique.
• Educate patients on procedures, pre/post-care, and obtain informed consent.
• Administer medications including conscious sedation per orders.
• Maintain safety protocols and assist with post-procedure care and recovery.
