Job summary

Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital in Homewood, AL is seeking an experienced radiology professional for the Electrophysiology Lab. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 6:45 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m., with no weekends and no on-call. You will provide direct patient care, assist physicians, operate EP equipment, ensure patient safety, document care accurately, and maintain compliance with OSHA, JCAHO, FDA standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold one of the following certifications: RCIS, RCES, CI; or a relevant bachelor’s degree or 4+ years experience with appropriate licensure.
• Current BLS and ACLS; PALS may be required per unit needs.
• Licensed/registered radiologic technologist or equivalent certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care during cardiovascular procedures.
• Operates electrophysiology equipment and maintains protocol accuracy.
• Ensures safety and radiation protection for patient and staff.
• Prepares and assists with physician procedures as scrub/assistant.
• Documents patient data and procedure details accurately.
• Maintains equipment, reports issues to Biomed/vendor as needed.
• Demonstrates aseptic techniques and infection control.
• Mentors and supports new staff and students in the EP lab.
