Job summary

StaffDNA® is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist specialized in Electrophysiology (EP) Lab procedures to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac care. You will assist physicians, prepare patients, and ensure imaging accuracy and safety throughout procedures.

Responsibilities include monitoring ECGs, operating EP imaging equipment, and maintaining meticulous records while adhering to radiation safety protocols in a hospital or dedicated EP lab environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT-registered radiologic technologist with EP lab experience.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac imaging and ECG basics.
• Experience with radiation safety and patient shielding.
• Ability to work under high-pressure conditions in EP labs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for EP procedures by explaining the process, obtaining consent, and ensuring their comfort.
• Monitor ECGs and intracardiac signals during EP procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to guide physicians during diagnostic or interventional procedures.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure.
• Maintain accurate records of patient data and procedure details.
• Respond to medical emergencies within the EP lab, including basic life support (BLS) or advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
