Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive outpatient evaluations, including detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and electrophysiology consultations for patients with cardiac arrhythmias.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including antiarrhythmic therapy, rate and rhythm control strategies, and lifestyle modification recommendations.
• Perform pre- and post-procedure assessments for patients undergoing catheter ablations, pacemaker implantations, implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) implantations, left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) procedures, and other electrophysiology interventions.
• Order, interpret, and manage cardiac diagnostic testing, including ECGs, ambulatory and event monitors, implantable loop recorders, cardiac imaging studies, and laboratory tests.
• Monitor and manage patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs), including pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
• Collaborate closely with electrophysiologists, cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and families on arrhythmia diagnoses, treatment options, procedural expectations, medication management, and long-term cardiovascular health.
• Deliver evidence-based care while adhering to organizational policies, clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
