Job summary

Atlantic Health System Heart Care in Morristown, NJ seeks an experienced Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner to manage arrhythmia patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will collaborate with electrophysiologists and cardiologists to deliver comprehensive, guideline-driven care before and after procedures.

You will assess and manage AFib, SVT, VT, device patients, and participate in EP studies, ablations, and device therapies while prioritizing patient education and care

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2–3 years of cardiac experience.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Team player with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and EP-focused follow-ups.
• Evaluate and manage AFib, SVT, VT, syncope, and rhythm disorders.
• Perform pre/post-procedure evaluations for EP studies, ablations, and device implantations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including antiarrhythmics and anticoagulation.
• Monitor patients with CIEDs (pacemakers, ICDs, CRT, loop recorders).
• Review ECGs, ambulatory monitors, labs, imaging, and device data.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transitions between settings.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, options, and long-term care.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and participate in quality initiatives.
