Job summary
Atlantic Health is seeking an Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner to support management of cardiac arrhythmias in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will work with Electrophysiologists and Cardiologists to care for established patients before and after procedures and participate in rhythm disorder management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiology/electrophysiology, device therapy, telemetry, and complex cardiovascular care.
Qualifications
- RN/NP with cardiology subspecialty experience required.
- Strong knowledge of atrial fibrillation, arrhythmias, and device therapy.
- Proficient in pre/post-procedure assessment and patient education.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cardiovascular assessments and follow-up visits focused on electrophysiology.
- Evaluate and manage patients with AFib, SVT, VT and other rhythm disorders.
- Perform pre/post-procedure evaluations for EP studies, ablations, and device implantations.
- Monitor device interrogations and remote transmissions, coordinating with EP team.
