Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking a skilled APN/PA to conduct comprehensive outpatient evaluations for arrhythmia patients and to develop individualized treatment plans. You will participate in EP procedures, manage diagnostics, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
• 2-3 years cardiology or cardiac care experience required.
• Current New Jersey licensure, or eligibility for licensure as NP/PA.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive outpatient evaluations including histories, exams and electrophysiology consultations for arrhythmia patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (antiarrhythmic therapy, rate/rhythm control, lifestyle modifications).
• Perform pre- and post-procedure assessments for ablations, pacemaker/ICD/LAAO and other EP interventions.
• Order, interpret and manage cardiac diagnostics (ECG, ambulatory monitors, imaging, labs).
• Monitor and manage patients with CIEDs (pacemakers/ICDs).
• Collaborate with electrophysiologists, cardiologists, nurses and others to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and families on arrhythmias, treatment options and long-term cardiovascular health.
• Deliver evidence-based care while adhering to policies, protocols, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
