Job summary

Boston Medical Center Brighton is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Electrophysiology (EP) Program within Cardiovascular Medicine. This newly created position will support EP clinic operations, device management, patient follow-up care, and procedural services as we continue to expand electrophysiology services and increase patient access.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• Current Massachusetts APRN license.
• National Nurse Practitioner Board Certification.
• Massachusetts and DEA prescriptive authority.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within required timeframe).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, counseling, and education in accordance with collaborative practice protocols.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams and health histories.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic testing.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Document patient encounters and clinical findings in the EHR.
• Collaborate with electrophysiologists and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Provide patient education on disease prevention and treatment adherence.
