Job summary

Boston Medical Center Brighton is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our Electrophysiology (EP) Program within Cardiovascular Medicine. The NP will support clinic operations, device management, follow-up care, and procedural services as we expand electrophysiology services and patient access.

The NP will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care, while traveling to affiliated outpatient

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current Massachusetts RN license and Massachusetts APRN license.
• National Nurse Practitioner Board Certification.
• Massachusetts and DEA prescriptive authority.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, counseling, and education per protocols.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams and histories.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic testing.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Document patient encounters and clinical findings in the EMR.
• Collaborate with electrophysiologists and care teams on patient management.
• Assist with EP clinic operations and device management.
• Participate in staff education and quality improvement initiatives.
