Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in Connecticut as PA-C, FNP, or AGPCNP.
• Experience in managing patients with arrhythmias is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for adult cardiology patients.
• Manage cardiac implantable devices in an outpatient setting.
• Evaluate patients pre and post intervention.

Job Details

• Provide comprehensive care for adult cardiology patients in an outpatient setting supporting a busy Electrophysiology program
• Manage cardiac implantable devices including pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders in an outpatient setting
• Evaluate patients pre and post intervention including patient education, clinical evaluation, and medication management
• Perform message triage and support office-based patient care activities
• Electrophysiology background preferred with experience providing comprehensive management of patients with arrhythmias
• Knowledge of anti-arrhythmic and anticoagulation drug therapy preferred
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master's Program
• Must be licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant (PA-C), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Adult Geriatric Primary Care (AGPCNP) in the state of Connecticut
• Full‐time exempt position – 40 hours, Monday through Friday
• Travel required to Norwich, Branford, and Wallingford locations
