Job summary

The University of Maryland Medical System seeks an experienced EP Nurse Practitioner to manage hospitalized patients with arrhythmias. Working with electrophysiologists and cardiology teams, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and peri-procedural support for EP consultations and device management.

You will perform inpatient rounds, coordinate discharge planning, interpret ECGs and device interrogations, and participate in EP rounds, while maintaining licensure, board

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or equivalent advanced nursing degree.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current RN and APRN licensure.
• Board certification as Acute Care NP (ACNP).
• BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Daily inpatient EP consult service coverage.
• Follow-up management of hospitalized EP patients.
• Participation in electrophysiology rounds.
• Pre- and post-procedure patient management.
• Device interrogation review and management.
• Coordination of discharge planning and outpatient follow-up.
• Participation in call coverage as assigned.
