Job summary

Ochsner Health System is seeking a Rad Tech for the Electrophysiology Lab on Jefferson Highway. The role supports the EP suite, assists physicians during EP studies, device implantations and ablations, and operates specialized imaging equipment.

You will monitor patient vitals and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures. Required qualifications include an Associate degree in radiologic sciences, BLS and ACLS within 6 months, ARRT registration, and state licensure.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic sciences is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications within 6 months of hire.
• ARRT registration and state licensure are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in EP studies, device implantations and ablations.
• Operate EP radiographic fluoroscopy equipment for diagnostic imaging.
• Set up and prep procedure rooms and equipment; monitor patient vitals.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with cardiac device implantations.
• Monitor radiation dose and ensure safety for patient and staff.
